Eventually I'll just remake everything, but as is, I'm pretty frustrated. Not only did my saves and saved sims mysteriously disappear, it basically looks like my entire game was uninstalled and reinstalled. My mods, settings, etc, all gone. I'm struggling with a new job and not really in the mood to recreate everything only to have it disappear. Maybe it's a TSM bug, or maybe life just hates me. But I'll revisit this legacy eventually, while I work on one that is much easier--my Burnes Legacy.

It looks like I may have somehow lost ALL of my saved TSM stuff. Sims, saves, etc. I have no idea how. I had backups, nothing happened to my computer. They're all just gone.

...but very cute.

I'm working on the beginning of generation two. Since we now have two computers again and my boyfriend spends the evenings playing Dragon Age II on my computer, I figured I'd install Sims 3 on it and work on a separate legacy while I'm unable to work on this one. I'll be hosting it here, but it will probably be a bit before I post to it. I'm planning on trying and making the legacy start in the early 1800's and work it's way up to 2010 slowly. Which means a lot of preliminary work. :x In the meantime, though, I'm very excited about the generation transition coming up, as well as some of the screens I managed to get. I'm very grateful to get people who actually like this legacy, so I hope you'll enjoy the next post. :)

Join me, friends, as I travel uncharted territory playing The Sims Medieval's first legacy! As you may have guessed, this game is not capable of following legacy rules entirely. However, where possible I will fake genetics and aging with each new Ambition kingdom (ie, generation). I'll be focusing largely on the royal family, however, as this is a game about all the kingdom's heroes, we will also follow their lives throughout the generations. This is the story of the Castle Byrnehold and it's inhabitants.

I'm downloading the game right now, and the first update will probably be posted as soon as I am able. I will be using this community to store all the legacy's updates. I'll be charting the uncharted path of the Sims Medieval legacy, which may not be technically possible in game, but I'll figure out how things work as I go. I may need to "fake" genetics and family lines, but I'll keep as close to what it should be as I can.
